Therese got ready at The Park Hyatt Chicago and arrived at the church in a black limousine, wearing an Ines Di Santo gown from Ultimate Bride Chicago. She and Cole had a first look before the mass, with Cole and his groomsmen in The Black Tux. After the ceremony, the whole wedding party piled onto a party bus for a tour around the city and portraits of the bridal party and the couple. It was May 2nd and only 47 degrees, and nobody could feel their fingers, but nobody in these photos looks anything but thrilled to be there.
The reception moved to Chicago Winery, where towering, cascading floral installations of greenery and blush-and-ivory blooms hung from the arched wood-paneled ceiling over long candlelit tables. Christine of Shannon Gail Events pulled off the kind of room that makes you stop scrolling. We ducked into the wine cellar for a few quiet portraits before the party got going, and closed out the night popping champagne on the streets of Chicago, cold be damned.
Therese and Cole have viewed their gallery 186 times since the wedding, and they’re still raving about the day. That’s the kind of reaction that makes this job the best in the world.
