Kait and Nick eloped at the Belmond Cap Juluca in Anguilla in July, with just his parents there to witness it. No big production, no long guest list, just two people and the people who raised one of them. The weather had other plans, rainy and windy, classic Caribbean summer, but it only made the photos moodier and more dramatic.
The ceremony and first look both happened on a terrace overlooking the turquoise water, white archways and lanterns on either side, the lawn stretching out toward the sea. Kait’s dress was a fitted, sleek gown with a long train, sequined Badgley Mischka heels underneath, and a veil that caught the wind so beautifully it practically became the centerpiece of every photo. Nick wore a soft tan suit that matched the sand and stone of the property perfectly.
Afterward, they toasted with Veuve Clicquot and cut into a small, elegant cake topped with white roses and a simple “Mr & Mrs,” before closing out the night with a private dinner on the terrace overlooking the ocean, prime beef tenderloin, island yellowfin tuna, and spiced rum baked pineapple for dessert, just the four of them, no cameras.
Hair, makeup, and planning were handled by the on-site spa team at Belmond Cap Juluca, who pulled it all together with almost no advance notice and made it feel effortless.
